On this edition of In The Circle, we welcome new Jacksonville Head Coach Erica Ayers. The crew also takes a look back at the wild 2017 season.
Ayers discusses the transition to Head Coach as well as how she arrived at Jacksonville in 2016 after six seasons as an assistant at Georgetown and before that at George Mason. She talks about what the Dolphins have to do to take the next step in the program following a 30 win season in 2017.
Also on this episode, Eric and Victor discuss some of the top stories in Softball in 2017 including the wild off-season in coaching moves which included Jessica Allister leaving Minnesota for Stanford and Shonda Stanton leaving Marshall for Indiana. We also talk about the controversy with Minnesota not hosting in the NCAA Tournament and Softball being back in the Olympics in part one of the Year in Review in Softball.
