On this edition of In The Circle, the guys once again are separated (we know, it only lasted one show) with Victor in Daytona covering the NPF series between Beijing and Cleveland. Before his assignment, Victor interviewed Head Coach Sue Kunkle of the newly crowned NCAA DII National Champion Southern Indiana Screaming Eagles. She shares with Victor the amazing path her team took from nearly missing the GLVC tournament to winning it all. Coach Kunkle shares the moment she felt her team could bring home the title as well as the pride of winning the title for the Hoosier State.
Eric and Victor then compare similar runs in other sports and break down the final NFCA DII poll. They segway into the DI final poll which has Eric perplexed. He wonders aloud why two coaches didn't vote Florida State No. 1 in the final poll. The episode wraps up with a discussion of the Fastpitch News All-American teams, and Victor being upset with the lack of local coverage of FSU's national championship.
