On our latest episode of In The Circle, Victor reports again from Viera covering the Bandits versus Pride rivalry plus the USA Elite Select Future WFC. He is joined by 2x All-NPF selection Hallie Wilson from the USSSA Pride to talk about their season to date. Wilson enters her 4th season with the team after being drafted out of Arizona by the USSSA Pride 28th overall in the 2015 NPF Draft.

The 2015 Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year chats about the defensive gem in her rookie season that put her on the map and how she literally had to shut off her phone. She also talks about finding her role on the Pride, playing to Mike Candrea, and the renovations taking place at Hillenbrand Memorial Stadium. Plus, we play 7 Innings with Hallie which includes an interesting thought on what she would change about the sport if put in charge of it.

Eric Lopez then joins us from our studios to recap the introductory press conference of Texas HC Mike White and shares some interesting thoughts on what led to his arrival in Austin. We look at who could be one of the top names on the list plus a concern Victor has about bringing that name to Eugene.

We are then joined by USSSA reporter Lindsey Schmidt from Viera as she shares her thoughts on the Pride 2018 season. She mentions the improvement of Sierra Romero at the plate as she leads the NPF in RBI's entering this weekend. Lindsey discusses traveling to Europe with USSSA in the fall and her next endeavor.

We wrap up our podcast with Eric's breakdown of UCF's hire of Cindy Ball with some interesting facts about what was going on the last time the Knights had to hire a softball coach. We take a look at the coaching carousel and tease some future guests for the podcast.
